Our Mission
A civic engagement concept created by Assad Mujtaba, candidate for Clifton City Council.
The Idea
Clifton Voice is a civic engagement concept created by Assad Mujtaba, candidate for Clifton City Council, to demonstrate a new way residents could have a more direct voice in the issues affecting our city.
Throughout my campaign, I have talked about a simple principle: local government should listen to the people it represents. Councilmembers are elected to govern and make responsible decisions, but those decisions should also be informed by the people who live here. Technology gives us an opportunity to listen more consistently — not only during elections or at City Council meetings.
Clifton Voice is my demonstration of what that could look like. It is about creating another way to listen, measure, report, and respond to residents.

Core Values
Local government should listen to the people it represents — not only during elections or at City Council meetings, but consistently and transparently.
Residency verification ensures that results reflect what Clifton residents actually think — not outside voices or automated responses.
All results are publicly visible. No hidden data, no selective reporting. The community sees exactly what the community said.
Clifton Voice results flow from Residents to Community Results to Better-Informed Public Discussion. The goal is to give residents a voice and provide useful context for public discourse.
Clifton Voice is currently a demonstration platform. Please read this carefully.
Try the community questions and see how Clifton Voice would work for real residents.
